Final day scenario

We need a point at home to already safe Preston and our two rivals have to play away at sides who need a win to stay up.

I'd rather have our fixture but fuck me do we need to turn up!

Will CC play it safe and play for the draw with a slow, pragmatic performance?

I guess so but a 7 goal swing, although highly unlikely, is still possible.

No doubt but, on the basis we stopped being able to defend at Easter, it would be very risky.

Some interesting dilemmas - the increasing liability Townsend or Reach? The terribly out of form Okay, Carlos’ love child or Chalobah? If Pieters is fit I’d be bringing him in.
