Can't argue much with that. Furlong maybe deserves an extra half a point for that clearance and Kipre a 10 for the save of the season.

Mowatt's worst game for a while and 6 is generous, but shows how dominant they were in midfield.

Great point from a poor performance against the league's form side.

Harsh on Chalobah, made a couple of important challenges when they were breaking away

No massive disagreement with the scores and QPR did a very good job on us and in the end we were lucky to get a point. Away from home the lack of a CF is a problem and it is making us a bit too predictable  and easy to defend against.
One point to discuss and it is only from the last two games but Coventry played the ball short from the back and easily dominated the game. In the second half Coventry went longer and more direct and it caused us lots of problems and Coventry dominated the second half. QPR did the same with direct long play and winning second balls which we could not cope with. We may need to adapt if I am correct and I am sure CC will find a way.

Do you mean that we dominated the game against Coventry, because we did? There was a wobble post their penalty but it's understandable that they would go up a gear after that. Ultimately, it was a match we won easily.

Yes my poor English, we dominated the first half v Coventry but second half they went longer and I felt Coventry had the better of the second half especially after they scored. QPR went long from the start and played to win the second ball, we could not get our passing game going. This I think teams will try and do against us and we need to have a plan.

I think teams swarm us at the moment, certainly away, as they know we have no out ball. We simply can’t go long as it’s tantamount to just giving them the ball back.

They know the only way we can play is to try and pass our way out and they close us down.

At our place teams are more circumspect and don’t press as high.

We need a CF that offers the option to occasionally go long. That, for us, creates the space between the lines that CClikes us to play in.

I think it was a perfect storm last night as well... Small pitch. Team of giants, with pace. And they just ran over us. You're absolutely right with the lack of an out ball mind.

We need to find a way of getting fellows and Jed to 'turn them around' as an out all rather than expecting them to hold it up.

Bartley was due to play last night before he felt his calf again and I can only presume that would have meant Pieters going to LB, for me we have to do this at Udds with semi in for Bartley

Last night after 10 mins we had 85% possession but all of it was so passive and predictable, QPR quickly realized we were not “all that” stepped on us and the rest of the game bar our goals was like the fucking Alamo

So poor last night and so much wrong however credit to QPR who pressed and hastled and hit the box early and gave every team in the Championship the blueprint to cause us problems

Palmer 6 At fault for first but good penalty save

Furlong 6 Shocking and sloppy with the ball but defended well and fantastic clearance saved us a point

Reach 4 Too one paced for full back, easily targeted and sloppy in possession

Pieters 5 Defended OK but done at the back stick for their equalizer, needs to go to LB Sunday

Kipre 7* Pick of a very bad bunch, always up for the fight and his distribution put plenty of others to shame

Mowatt 5 Very poor by his high standards, looked leggy and was sloppy in possession

Turk 5 For his high standards not good enough, passive and slow build up, no incisive passing which is what he’s so good at

Grady 7 Bright fir me, tremendous goal and always showed for the ball in tight areas

Fellows 5 Great assist rest of his game was as bad as he’s been, gave the ball away so many times and carried little threat on the ball

Johnstone 7 Always looks to drive forward and we never got the ball to him anything like enough, tremendous strike

Wallace 4 Amazing effort and chasing but zero questions asked of the QPR back 4, desperate for a striker to get fit as away from home way too easy to play against without a focal point up top

Subs

Ajayi 6 Defended OK and used his pace well bringing the ball out of defence

Pipa 5 Tidy but defensively so poor, allowed Willock way too much space to put the cross in for their equalizer, under tens stuff

Chalobah 5 Covered the ground well but couldn’t stem the tide of QPR midfield bossing the game

Swift 4 Aninymous until last 5

Weimann 3 Ananymous for the entirety he was on

Udds will be a carbon copy of QPR, hard work, pressing and balls into the box, let’s hope we’ve learned a lesson or two

First time I have seen this mentioned and this was something I mentioned to my wife when watching the game.

... Small pitch. Team of giants, with pace and we had no outball. Watching Benfica atm and the size of their pitch as against last night seems to back it up.

Diangana marking Cook was a total mismatch for example.
