Why do drivers think it's okay to drive with no fucking lights on?

I used to think this until I realised that most cars’ auto lights settings don’t detect fog. I too was one of these cunts of the highest order, now I turn them on manually whenever it’s foggy/misty.

I had to turn mine on manually today as well. More cars driving in fog without lights though - probably due to Auto light ignorance.

I'd say a lot of drivers are just knob heads. How many do you see without lights on when it's lashing down of rain too? Wipers on? then put your fugging lights on.

I was driving over the Severn Crossing this morning in thick fog and loads of cars (especially grey ones) did not have their lights on!

Just for balance, why do drivers think it’s ok to have their fog lights on when it’s not foggy? Having that bright red light burnt into your retina makes it a lot harder to see when they are braking

I was driving over the Severn Crossing Prince of Wales Bridge this morning in thick fog and loads of cars (especially grey ones) did not have their lights on!

Could probably see about 4/5 foot in front this morning where we are (quite high up) - still drivers with no lights on.

I had a bloke claim he was late for work because he went to bed with the window open and, when he woke up, the fog had got into his bedroom and he couldn't see the clock, so he went back to sleep.
