If inflatable, they are much of a muchness and don't last that long, but they are so cheap you could have a new one every year for a decade and still be cheaper than a fixed one.

I'd avoid Mspa as their customer service is poor.

Whatever you decide on, shop around, there's deals to be had.

Costco nearly always have one or two models on offer but not conversant on quality or prices overall in this area!

I've got a Sundance Optima, a bit pricey but went for the name and reputation. . Seats 7 but you only get the true immersive experience in 4 seats but 6 seats have jets.. You might need the next model up.
Any good retailer will let you have a wet test at their premises.
I've had a number of issues over the 5 years I've had it but  most have been fixed under warranty which is long and extensive, especially the shell.. Pump, LED lights 3 times, temperature sensor, side panel distorted are ones I can think of other than non warranty repairs.
I've monitored it over the winter and it costs about £16 a week in electric to maintain it at 38C.
Filters and UV lamp cost about £250 a year., chemicals about £100 a year.
I would advise to get a good quality water taster and not rely on test stips, their readings cause me to need 6 new jets as the water was acidic and was  reading OK but it wasn't.
Don't leave head rests in the tub as they disintegrate over time. 4 new ones £150.
6 new jets due to false readings cost £256, I fitted myself.
I'll need a new cover this year which will be abiut £500. So life span about 5 years.
Having said all the above, wouldn't be without it. You just need to allow for maintenance, like a car.
I've no idea about new models or makes, just go for something reputable and not Chinese.

Over priced for what they are, all seem to be rather unreliable too and barely last. Also be prepared for the hike on your electricity bill.

Mrs has an inflatable one, get 5 in there easily, was about £250 from B&Q after I gave her a voucher and we waited for a sale, can't remember the brand.

Mostly it comes out at the end of spring then goes back in October, probably gets used less than 5 times in that period... They seem like a great idea, but ultimately aren't.

Isn't hot tub ownership basically an open invite for swinging?

You really need a fixed one to do anything enjoyable... otherwise it's like trying to do it in a small car... ahem, or so i've been told!
