Grady vs Mikey

Having watched the highlights on the OS, I couldn't help but notice the difference in the two reactions to the goals...

MJ was ecstatic, congratulated by teammates and seemed very happy.

Grady not so, he just did not seem happy at all.

For anybody that stayed after the final whistle, did Grady do the fist pump thing at the SME?

Have a look and see what you think...

Grady is just Grady. He’s a bigger asset than people are taking on board. Let’s just leave him be.

Yes. I'm one who rates him.
What's impressive is that he's willing to play out of position, up front, not his natural game.
Could anyone we have (fit) do better?

Think you are reading too much into it.

One was a goal of real individual quality that got everybody immediately off their seats.

The other was a team goal, finished off by Diangana in a pretty matter of fact way. There were still plenty of players round him in the celebrations.

Grady is starting to be treated like Grant by some it would seem. Personally I like(D) them both.

Every little thing seems to be being analysed about them, yet we'd have been worse off without either's contribution.

I guess their price tags are why?

Ten goal contributions from Grady this season. By far his best season since he joined permanently. No surprises it's come after a year or so working under Carlos.

Must admit I didn't realise it was that many, especially as he doesn't seem to have started loads, but you know, he didn't look happy celebratingBig Grin Big Grin

<adds Grady to the spacegoat list, due to not running around the pitch naked whilst doing a Gera forward and backward flip, after passing the ball in to the net from 6 yards out>
