Lee hughes

He's not the brightest, he needed guidance and looking after, but his mates let him run riot. Lots of people paid a heavy price for his idiotic behaviour. He has that millstone forever around his neck. He does a fair bit for charity now, but his slate will never be clean.

The thing I find most bizarre about the Lee Hughes saga is that after being jailed he came out and become the first away player to score a goal at The Juventus Stadium.

It is a most unbelievable story. Literally rags to riches and unfortunately, almost back to rags. Going from working on roofs to being the star of your football team, idolised in the area you live is almost a fairy tale. To then throw it away must be very hard to take. I don't think he is bad but he is irresponsible and coupled with drink and substances what a mess he made of things.
