Missed in all the "excitement" - the club announced today that he's back in full training which, if nothing else, improves a chance of a sale before the window closes.

I think everyone would like to see him recreate his form of 2019 but it all seems so long ago now. If he does stay, given he's not had a proper pre-season I imagine he's a long way from being anywhere near contention for the squad at present anyway.

Class player on his day but those days have been few and far between for too long. Even when fully fit he has become such a frustrating player to watch as everyone knows what he can do but his end product just hasn't been good enough.
He will now be fit enough to pass a medical and I 100% expect him to be sold before the window shuts. No way will we risk playing him imo.

Three good months in four years does not make him a class player. He's a bang average Championship winger with a few nice tricks and flicks and very little else. His goal and assist return since Christmas 2019 has been consistently poor and we can get a cash offer of any sort we should accept.

Grady, if he stays should be straight back into the team. Statistically he brings so much to the team, especially defensively strangely.

Who would you have him in for though? I'm guessing Wallace will be in barring injury now he's captain and a fit Phillips poses far more of a threat in my opinion. |
