I know highlights videos are misleading, but it looks like he could. Having said that, when you only have 2 fit strikers, you don't want one of them also being cover for another position.

CC has referenced Maja liking to link play already. I also think 10 is Grady's natural position. So would be more happy to see him play there.

CC said that Sarmiento can play 10 and also alluded to Maja dropping deep.

I'm not that worried about the defence either, there should be more than enough experience there to compete. Pre-season is always a bit misleading in terms of goals conceded IMO, with players never fully committed to challenges etc.
