Stuart Broad Retiring

What a career, doesn't have the numbers as James Anderson but in my opinion he's the better bowler.
Will be a huge miss, especially seeing as he's still got it.

Can we make it a family double please and get his dad to retire also?

He’ll have an agenda, don’t you worry

I’d wager he either got runs against India or more likely had the audacity as match referee to stand up the self titled Gods of cricket at some point……

Just a hunch

No just facts Cuzer.
Don't think it's his batting against India  ... did he ever play in a test against them? Think not but there you go ... why let facts get in the way, again.
You mention his behaviour or performances as an match referee... wonder what led you to that conclusion? Could it again be that nemesis of yours .. FACTS?

Your dislike of whoever the God's of cricket are is well documented. At least you're consistent.

As for his son, surprised at his retirement but a superb record for England and especially against Australia. A hard act to replace and the side will be poorer for his absence.

Going out on top rather than dragging your career on and going out with a whimper. The best way to go.

He’ll have received a very decent contract offer from Sky. At the age of 37 and with a young child it’s not hard to see why he’d turn that down. Ironically, if he goes to Sky then that might mean no Sky contract available yet for Anderson, who said only the day before that he was not intending to retire yet. It’s quite possible that Broad’s decision was linked to grabbing that Sky contract.

Reckon Anderson will be on TMS, he's already involved with the BBC.

And the reason for your dislike is what then fella?

Go on, let’s hear it……….
