Arse flares at the ready…

The Wembley thing is an easy fix…. Don’t let anyone without a ticket (except those who live in the flats) within 100 metres of the stadium. It’s easy to close Wembley Way off, surprised they didn’t do it two years ago.

I can't see as quick a turnover happening tbf. There are other places it could be held.

Looks like we’re getting it because nobody else wants it.

Bit like our transfer business.

We've got a big stadium in Perry Barr that's empty right now...

Because the other bidders Turkey and Italy have such wonderful track records of spectator safety when it comes to football games.

The U.K. has one of the best records when it comes to fan safety… look at some of the high profile fuck ups in France, Italy etc in recent years.

We'll probably need a second tier

Turkey/Italy are bidding for 32 aren’t they?

Correct.

Went to the Euros in 2016 and it was a disaster waiting to happen. Shocked there wasn’t a huge crush before the Wales game.

Nations league semi in Portugal was also a disgrace. Police locked everyone out of the ground 5 minutes before kick off and started wading in with batons. Only managed to get into the ground by booting a fire door open - despite having a fucking ticket!
