Flying for a match v Maidenhead is insane

Its about an hour and a half from Wrexham to Manny Airport
Then the flight of 40 mins to Stansted
Then about an hour and a half to get to Maidenhead from Stanted

The coach journey direct would be around 3 hours

bit of a non-story really when you've got rail staff taking planes because they're cheaper than trains!

Mullins punctured a lung vs Man Utd last week. Not a good start to the season. The youtube video features their ageing goalkeeper who is still better than Button.

They flew into Oxford for Maidenhead, it's 45 mins from there instead of Stanstead. (Google reckons 1 hour from Wrexham to Manchester Airport... So 1hr 45, then 35 min flight, so about 2.5 hours instead of 3.5 hours (Google driving a car, Google claims coach is nearer 4.5 hours) and hoping not to get stuck in traffic. Environmentally still well dodgy, but if we were in a similar position to them, gambling it all on promotion, then I probably wouldn't be overly concerned either... Would be interested to see the flights used be Prem clubs for pointless pre-season friendlies and such like.

Nothing malicious in the challenge. Big time charlies now these Wrexham lot. Parkinson a disgrace for making the comments he did to the keeper ...''keep away from Wrexham''! That is a threat. What a nasty thing to say and I agree with the Mancs who say he has only inflamed the situation.

For me that was a malicious and totally unnecessary challenge.

Opinions. I beg to differ. But Parkinson was bang out of order.
