We'd be no worse off having 11 outfield players.
Surely the youth team GK isn't as bad as Bunn? We can't keep persisting with him. It's not fair on him, first of foremost. It's like keeping a terminally ill dog alive.

I coach youth football (u14). Our team is bottom of the A League but we have some good players. You play against a top A League team and the standard of some of the players is incredible. You then move to the inner city leagues and you go up a notch again. It makes you think just how good you have to be to be to become a professional first then how much better to be a decent player at a decent level. Someone like Furlong has likely been the best player in his school, his district and yet we rate him as an average Champ player.
However, in the case of Button, I truly believe that if you were to stick a non-league keeper in there the gulf would be at worst marginal.
