Or if the Moore/Shan setup had continued?

Why?

It seems that Moore was a little weak if he was incapable of controlling the direction the first team was going in over Jones. That being so it's best Moore is nowhere near first team coach.

2 games since Moore went. 2 wins  2 clean sheets and a safe looking goalie. Coincidence?

No - Mooro had lost the plotto

We wouldn't have won those two games under BD/Jones. He wouldn't have picked those midfield combos or used the substitiutes as sensibly as Shan did. And we'd have conceded at least one in each game by larking about at the back.

Johnstone has looked far more assured since we've stopped the madness at the back, which is hardly surprising as that made me as nervous as anything too

We were almost resigned to conceding a goal.

Wednesday particularly,  our goal had a charmed life - how on earth we didn't concede was almost a miracle.   Angel

Must have imagined the clean sheets at Rotherham, Bolton, Brighton, Stoke and Villa.

Four out of five of those teams were going through a poor run of form when we played them. Even against Villa, Johnstone had to pull off some excellent work against Abraham within the first ten minutes.
