love Lanzagrotty, great island and lovely people.  get some bikes and ride along the coast path, it's quite flat and the breeze takes the edge off the heat.

the beaches are lovely at Teguise, there's a small beach which is like a mill pond great for young kids, Playa Jabello i think, although the main beach is good and clean with loads of bars and restaurants nearby.

you'll have a great time.

I bet the Barmouth webcams don't look as good as the Lanzarote webcams at the moment.

Could not believe how expensive they are! A week on a Greek island was coming in at 3-4 grand for two adults and two kids.

2019 - 2 adults 2 kids all inclusive menorca 4 star 14 nights less than 3k

2022 - 3 adults 2 kids all inclusive Gran Canaria 4 stars 14 nights 4K

2023 - 3 adults 2 kids all inclusive lanzarote 3 stars 10 nights 5k

Euro all inclusive is garbage in my experience, especially compared to Caribbean / Mexico versions.

We go to Lanzarote every year my personal preference is for Playa Blanca but we went to Teguise last year  . Don’t know if you have children but the water park for me was an absolute dump and made
The Crystal leisure centre in Stourbridge look like a palace .It was dirty and we felt had suffered through lack of investment probably due to the covid situation . The one in playa Blanca whilst smaller is much better .

I went in December 2021, when more than a few were clamouring for another lockdown and it was very clear to see the impact two years of hardly any tourism had on the island. Several large hotels closed and abandoned developments.

Did an all inclusive in Sardinia about 6-7 years ago that was lush. Moretti for me and Prosecco for Lady D on tap AOTS.

Went to Mexico in 2015 for our honeymoon and the all inclusive was out of this world. Just incredible, must have put on a stone in ten days.

I'd say head down the coast a bit, look at the RIUs near Playa Del Carmen, Cancun isn't that nice and the beaches aren't as good, plus higher chance of Yanks on tour.
