Did an all inclusive in Sardinia about 6-7 years ago that was lush. Moretti for me and Prosecco for Lady D on tap AOTS.
Went to Mexico in 2015 for our honeymoon and the all inclusive was out of this world. Just incredible, must have put on a stone in ten days.
Looking at going in april to mexico looked at the rui palace in cancun got fantastic reviews and its not spring bank holiday
I'd say head down the coast a bit, look at the RIUs near Playa Del Carmen, Cancun isn't that nice and the beaches aren't as good, plus higher chance of Yanks on tour.
I didnt want to be stuck in a hotel.complex for for 2 weeks thats all .
We stayed in Riu Tequila and went all over the place. Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba, Acumal, you've got the ferry over to Cozumel too. And the delights of Fifth Avenue are barely a 40 minute walk away, believe me, you are far from stuck on a complex, as you are with some of them on that coast.
