Is every seat still reserved despite you being the second person on the coach?

Don't get me started! Coming back was even more bizarre than the clientele on the coach. People arguing about seats. For whatever reason people find it difficult to sit in the same seat on the journey home as they did for the journey there. It's not difficult. Why do so many lack common sense?

This is before you account for the fact the coach was 15/20 minutes late, a 1
5 hour journey somehow took 3 hours. And then you had the ridiculous nature of the drop offs. The stewards were dropped off first. We then passed two further drop off locations on the way to the Hawthorns, which apparently had to be the next drop off point, even though it was out of the way and put another 40-60mins on the journey for those who were dropped off last. All in all it was a joke, and a service I won't be in a hurry to use again. Give the train staff the wage they want, please!

I told you not to get me started.

Time travel is excellent. Going to Bristol yesterday, I think I time travelled to the 70's.

I think I'd rather be stuck on the M5 than spend time with the wife.

Interestingly, I notice, the official travel now using local company Prospect instead of Leons of Stafford. Seemed a lot of Albion coaches about yesterday.

Me and my mates used to travel with Prospect on Cradley speedway away trips - quite a few tales of regular breakdowns could be told in those days !

There's seems a bit of a clique on the official travel. If you're a non regular like me and just using it when there's no trains or cars going, it can be a tad odd. First, there is no seat allocated so regulars strew coats AOTS early on then vanish somewhere, so if 3 or 4 of you get on you haven't a clue what's going on. Surely the club should give tickets with seat no's to clarify this.
Second, the coaches' arrival time appears to be ruled by the police. They like you there just in time to go straight in the ground. It's OK if your going to London as they take no chances with traffic and get you there in time for a pub and some scran. If its a straightforward trip (Lancs,Yorks etc) you find yourself dumped at the away end 15 minutes before KO. Last time we used the club coaches was Newcastle, in the SGM days. We pleasantly found ourselves on the outskirts of town about 2 hours early. Then the coaches were held there by the police until the very last minute before being escorted to the ground just in time for kick off. I've not used them since.
