Good to see this is now getting coverage and teams are walking off.

“The Tividale players and staff refused to start the second half and the officials abandoned the game at the break, with Alport leading 3-0.”

I’d like to think they’d have done the same if they’d been 3-up though!

Shouldn't be hard to track the culprit. There was some comments from a Nuneaton fan at Redditch a few weeks ago and a police investigation is going ahead.

Who's the Tivi player?

Alport fans saying it’s because it was 3-0 despite it happening at 0-0 but them being unable to report it until HT due to protocols

Alport’s twitter account also posted “rolling eyes” at a supporter who took them to task and issued a statement that stated the linesman heard the comment but then stressed it was “alledged”.

They sound like a bunch of backward country bumpkins tbh

0-0 when it happened but protocol meant they couldn’t report it properly at the time, they did so at HT and weren’t happy with the outcome so walked

Get that, just saying would be interesting to see if they refused to play on if they were 3-0 up!

The protocol we have in youth football is that any incident is brought to the attention of the referee at the time of it happening.

Perhaps we should be grateful then? Tividale didn't have to make that moral decision and perhaps let the supporter get away with it
