Apparently that’s the market response to forcing someone to fall on their sword for your own ill-thought out mistakes. Which sounded better to the stupid than the Rishi report no-one wanted to hear. 

Maybe now everyone will shut up about that gold Gordon Brown sold off. Also a dumb move, but at least he had something to show for it. 

Every man, woman and child now is suffering because of this lot. I honestly reckon any average bunch of sixth-formers could have a better go than this.

In any other normal country this would be the end of that political party or at least a couple of decades in the wilderness. One can only hope.
