So apart from Truss’s Libertarian nonsense costing the country billions I wonder what else we have done to make our economy fail so badly? Hmm tricky!

OBR forecasts aren't looking good for the Autumn statement either, the BoE suggested in November that we wouldn't hit Q4 2019 GDP by 2026.

We could join the single market in an attempt to stimulate growth by removing red tape and encouraging development of services and increasing access to trade with our biggest market, but we won't. The UK is the political equivalent to Albion under Steve Bruce.

Not the Brexit the Brxiteer wanted - more immigration, that's what we wanted.

It's been revealed over the weekend that Wolfson is paying less than Amazon and ASOS (amongst others) close to his warehouses, so no wonder he's bleating about cheap labour. Maybe he could use some of Next's £500 million in profits to compete for workers.

I'd just settle for him not plundering the employees pension pot, as is the want of most of those types.

Well at least our largest listed company hasn't fucked off to the NYSE. I can hardly conceive the glee on here had Shell or Unilever consolidated their listing in Amsterdam rather than in London, or GSK delisted and headed for the states.

We all know our economy is in for a difficult time and that company valuations have been hit and will be hit by a variety of headwinds.

Perhaps we ought to try to sell more handbags to totalitarian states.

Hardly glee, we’re all paying for this fuck up. Problem is some of us saw it coming
