If we're doing players without a connection with us, one of my favourites is One Size, which was the nickname for Fitz Hall of QPR.

That one all makes me laugh, as indeed does the rugby player Billy Twelvetrees, known as “36”

Quality - I hadn't heard that one before!

I knew someone who lost the top half of his ear in an accident so had 1 1/2 ears.   Quickly became known as “18 months”
