Hasn't it been confirmed that Grant wasn't wanted by Bilic? He's an expensive square peg in some regards. Maybe that's what lingers.
Or he could be popping over yours when you're at work.

Bilic was desperate for Grant it was Dowling that didn't and the reverse re Grady as Bilic thought. we paying too much and wanted to strengthen other areas.

Wrong. Orsic was Bilic’s first choice.

I think he wanted both, it was well documented at the time that Bilic only wanted Grant despite Dowling putting other targets in front of him. Orsic is a winger/attacking midfielder.
