I've asked a few companies to quote on sticking some solar panels on the roof ahead of selling the motor and leasing an electric one via salary sacrifice.

I've asked for a quote for a battery (they're proper pricey though aren't they given their lifespan) too but was wondering whether any of yoos have had panels installed and how it's all going?

Dunno but last time I asked about solar panels ( for the house), I was told it takes about 8 years to get your investment back. I've since heard its gone up to 12.

I'm not sure that's the case with the cost of electricity going up.
