Javids speech was good on sentiment,  but was mediocre in content and poorly delivered.

If this was a genuine resignation speech then he deserves credit, if it was a pitch for the leadership then it was evidence of why he is not up to the job.

But the point he makes is true, it shouldn't be possible to still be in the cabinet and a credible future leader.
