Didn't they only pay the first £2.5m in the end? Then there was the increased wage and re-signing on fees. Then Kidderminster got their share as well...

Such a sorry state of affairs.

With Hughes we paid what, 200k and sold him for 5m+1….and then when they couldn’t pay the outstanding debts, we took him back. Essentially they paid us £2.5m to loan him for a season.

I don't think it was even £200k, they did have a profit share on him though. However, when you add on his new signing-on fee, drastically increased wages and the fact that he caused serious trouble, didn't finish his contract and never re-found his form it doesn't look so good. For 2.5m, the 'profit' was minimal.

I feel uncomfortable not mentioning the deaths he caused, but couldn't fit it in without seeming to minimise them.

Chris Whyte, on free but sold for a fee.
Did we buy Dingle Don for£60,000 and sell him for £ 900 000?

Possibly Foster. It was undisclosed IIRC but wouldn’t have thought it was less than the 4 mill we paid Blues.

I think you'll find it was conditional on his left leg growing another 2 inches to match his right leg!

Did we pay Man Utd £50,000 for Mick Martin, and sell him to Newcastle for £150,000 ?
