If he’d stayed with us he wouldn’t have had the surgery that Palace and his agent insisted on… many of the injuries that have kept him out for the last 2 years were recurrences of the injury the surgery was supposed to fix.
We managed to get him fit and had him playing week in, week out.
I reckon if he’d stayed here he’d have more of a career.
It’s a pity when any young player’s career is ended by injury, but he’s made his bed and now it seems he has to lie in it.
