I was working in Erdington today. All I was thinking was how grand those huge houses on Kingsbury Rd must have once been. Likewise Gravelly Hill with the 'stable block' on the side of an enormous house. There are still some old ones round there that call Erdington High St. "The village". Place I was working on was falling down, an HMO with bins overflowing and rat poison blocks AOTS. Still, t'was a nice sunny day.

Currently sat outside the Yenton enjoying a couple of pints in the evening sun. You could be literally anywhere in the world with a scenic view of the sea if there were actually a scenic view of the sea instead of dual lane traffic in front of me. Never mind, might take some cans down Witton Lakes tomorrow. Sounds quite exotic.
It's not bad these days, The Yenton.
