You don't know what is then.

Those top earners are only still here because they must have flex down contracts on relegation otherwise they would have been long gone the loan players brought in are probably on less moneythan most of our squad and add the fact that we didnt really open the purse strings in transfer fees then i would say BD has done well under the circumstances .

Depends on the context. A relegated team keeping the likes of Gibbs, JRod, Dawson, Hegazi etc (there were reported bids for most of those) and signing the championships best keeper, from last season, as well as 4 quality loans in January could be described as being backed.

Personally, I think DM has been backed enough to mount a promotion challenge which he is doing.

Can't think of any manager in any league who doesn't want more.

19th in the net loss\surplus league - a £12.5m profit.

Stoke, being top, with a net loss of £29.5m.

I know that doesn't tell the full picture of players staying etc. but it does tell you he hasn't been particularly backed. That's before you get into the lack of infrastructure around the club to help support a fella who, no scouting network etc.

That table highlights what a great job Farke has done at Norwich.

Sitting pretty at the top of the table having made a profit of £28.94 mil!
