For South American clubs it’s a massive deal, they treat it like a proper competition, and many players love to win it because it means they’re actually the best club in the world…

But agree, it’s a tin pot cup, much like the old Euro Super Cup that was just an excuse for UEFA execs to have a piss up in Monaco every season
