For us summer of 2017 would have been the ideal time to thank Pulis for a job well done and employ someone younger as Brighton and Palace have done in recent seasons.

Perhaps, but it's hard to see that scenario arising again in the future from where we are now.

For the record, I would never thank Pulis for anything ever!
