Trentham is pretty close to us so we took the lad loads of times when he was growing up. I don't think it's worth it if you're more than 40 mins away though. They're lovely little fuckers but they can choose to go in the trees if they want and show you their arses.

Twycross zoo near Atherstone is good for monkeys but they’re not loose they’re caged. Go Ape is a red herring, that’s a woodland adventure course nothing to do with monkeys

Yes, Go Ape is a treetop adventure course. For future reference though, the one at Cannock Chase has a course for children now, I'd suggest suitable for about 7-11 year olds. Very safety conscious and includes a short zip wire.

You'd be pushed to make Trentham Monkey Forest last for 4 hours, it's not that big really. 2 hours tops.
