Those restrictions were never necessary. I think the question should be 'why were we locked down, and why were the Nation duped into being scaremongered by a glorified cold'.
The government and media whipped up a frenzy, which the Nation bought, and then willingly obeyed lockdown. That's what should anger people about not being able to see loved ones. Reasonable and compassionate guidelines should have been in place for this scenario.
People shouldn't concerm themselves with whether a couple of toffs had some cheese on a random evening last winter, or not. It's such a petty and pointless issue, when looking at the bigger picture.
