Changes to EV grants

If you were considering buying an EV in the New Year you might want to reassess the numbers.

The government has sneaked out a massive reduction in the grant available today - £2,500 down to £1,500:

Let's face it Proth, they aren't going to increase tax to pay for Covid, so they have to claw it back somehow. The great and somewhat dim British public will probably not notice this.

They are increasing tax though, just through NI and rate freezes/reductions.

I saw this as currently shopping around and electric is a consideration. I suppose they have to find the money to keep those 90 year old Sussex residents rattling around in their 4 bed houses
