I blame them all. Every one.

It was an unworkable dream scenario. In order for it to work the EU would have had to play nicely, something that would never happen as that would lead to the break up of their own institution. This was obvious from the outset, but I guess some people have to see things to believe them.

Which is why I still don't regret Leaving for a second. If the only only way an institution believes it can survive is by acting against our, and its own interests then it's not an institution I'd like to be part of. It does sum up why both Greece and Italy remain members after their appalling treatment by the EU. Me? I'd prefer to get out of a bad marriage than carry a grudge for decades.

Exactly the problem in a nutshell - complete misunderstanding of the reason for a common market. When we were in it we were protected and could manage our production and sales against the global competition that could have wiped out our production given the chance.

We've just created our own little common market in the UK now. Same shit, smaller market, less customers.

The list of political arguments Proth is now on the wrong side of grows longer by the day. Reduced to say ah but, if they did it the way I said it would have worked.

Therein lies the problem, you and the party you campaigned for are responsible for this mess and instead of blaming the root causes - because that would involve admitting you were wrong - you're blaming everyone including those whose fault it isn't.

I ask again because I don't believe you answered my previous question. Did you vote for Jeremy Hunt or Boris Johnson?

Johnson is useless.

Corbyn would have been dangerous.

The Single Market was amongst Dear Margaret's finest hours. I didn't know you were such a fan.

My reasons for leaving were to do with all the other shit she complained about.

And therein lies another problem, you're still playing team politics. I have no problem with items, such as the single market, that were brought in (and in fact instigated) by Tories because they were good for the UK. Ultimately trashing that because we couldn't have it all our way has left us in a position of having less than we did and making us poorer as a nation - it's simply stupid.

Brexit was always going to be a disaster for the UK because we were so embedded, it was the medical equivalent of removing a tumour that was attached to the main arteries - Good news is we got the tumour out, bad news is the patient died.

Congratulations on everything you have won.
