Appleton makes two subs at half time which turns the game in his favour when it was really slipping away.

But you know, judge him on that sub years ago in his first game as our manager.

Same as they judge Wilder, on one bad season.

It's entirely appropriate to judge Wilder on his one bad season, given that it was this season and not a one-off match a decade ago.
