We'd be a big fish in the Chumpo. And Fat Sam would be an even bigger fish.
It makes sense to me that he stays to give it a go. Rather him than Appleton or Wilder or any of the other names touted about. But if he doesnt stay - or if he bombs and is gone by Xmas - then we need to look abroad IMHO. Get a German manager. An Austrian. Someone. Not one of the usual suspects. The only exception to that, for me, would be Big Dave. I'd welcome him back.

I think a good manager of any nationality (couldn’t care less where they’re from), and not go back to Big Dave or any other former manager. I might make an exception for Roy!

Whether you’re in favour of Sam continuing or not, Sam said he’d only stay if he was provided with backing in terms of keeping our star players and adding quality. That’s a good thing.

I’m not going to argue. Makes sense in many ways.

Would be a good decision IMO, however I don't trust the story at all

It’s up to him if he stays or goes if we are in the chump. Think you need to change the thread title to reflect the FACTS. Just saying loike.
I told you I’ll be back
