Marinated with:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Soy Sauce
Squeezed Lemon Juice
Garlic Puree
Chilli Flakes
Whack in oven on hot for 35 minutes. I like my Chicken fried hard fool!

I'd be adding a spoonful of honey to that mix....
Or...
Oyster sauce & Fish sauce and lime juice instead of the lemon juice.

Good swimmer though.
Bit harsh on your missus. I’m sure she didn’t mean to go into the river

For chicken wings, once cooked, add to a bowl of prepared runny honey and sriracha Thai sauce (50:50 mix). Lovely.

I found them surprisingly crap at beating a drum with, might try removing the rest of the chicken first next time around (chicken drumsticks).

Don’t add honey to the marinade as it will burn whilst cooking. By all means, marinade with the other ingredients and finish the last 2 or 3 minutes with honey. Or do the honey early and have burnt acrid sugar on your chicken if you prefer it like that
