Cheese sandwich wrapped in cling film behind a bar 
Fish man with cockles and mussels 
Bags of poppadoms 
Vodka and orange cordial (times were tough in the 70’s)

Weddings / birthdays parties;
Val eu vents
Cold chicken drumsticks
Pineapple and cheese on a cocktail stick
Sausage on a cocktail stick

At home;
Tapioca pudding
Semolina pudding
Vesta currys 

Blue Nun wine 
Woodpecker cider

Cheese footballs.....thank God!
One of the few foods I cannot stomach....absolutely foul.

As for semolina, my wife has rediscovered it of late and has a bowl most days. Looks like wallpaper paste to me!

The stuff they used to serve us at school, tasted pretty much like wallpaper paste as well, as I recall.

Guessing school dinners no longer have big steaming jugs of yellow, brown and green custards.... god knows what the green one was all about on reflection.

We had brown, yellow and pink custard at the school I went to
