Allardyce for me, though if that were not possible for any reason then I would be happy to settle for Wilder. However, Wilders' record of total management of a premiership club does give me cause for concern, not least his buying record. The Robinson/Burke swap is the obvious one but paying £23+m for Brewster and then not getting a tune out of a player that IMHO is much better than any forward at the club smacks of ineptitude or obstinacy. Furthermore, if the Sheffield United owners comments are correct then his greed is no less than Allardyces', but he is not alone in that.
