Why?
I'm not in the "want England to lose" camp, even though I think Eddie Jones is an awful person, worse than any of the dysfunctional characters who populate the soccer Premier League. But Rugby Union is such a disjointed, unattractive game, buoyed up by the gung-ho attitude of its proponents but basically (these days) lacking any artistry. Played at the top level by physical freaks. Such a good game that they have to keep changing the rules to keep it interesting. When I last played it was 3 points for a try and 1 point for a conversion.

I'm in the 'not really bothered too much about rugby' camp.
But too be 'delighted' to see England lose? Wow.
But Birdy has cleared up the reason for the hatred so all understood.
