Yep. Used to be the best night of the year, years ago. Then all day drinking came in and by the time you finish work everyone's blathered and on the way home.

I used to love St Paddys day in the 90s, when I was a young chap. Had some great nights out. One of the most memorable getting off with some young Colleen in an Ireland rugby shirt at the Hibernian in Selly Park. I got on so well that she later revealed to me what was under it and they were the size of rugby balls!

I got into work late the next day and got a bollocking! It was worth it.

I haven't celebrated St Pats now for many moons.

Pfft. You should go to Poland.  Their weddings last 2 or 3 days depending on how wealthy they are.  3 day pissup for a wedding!!! Superb Big Grin
