I wonder if the ball for McInnes’ goal has stopped moving yet.

Sometimes don't like how this is seen as something good every year , it was a bloody disgrace and the atmosphere was awful .
Gets forgotten their fans acted like wankers that day too .

I missed this one but was at the game 2 years later when we beat them 2-1 (Moore and Gaardsoe). Tasty atmosphere that day.

Always remember one of the Blades fan running to the away end and stealing a Baggies flag . Got tasty on those back streets around the ground .

Can't think of a bigger piece of manager shithousery before or since. Oddest feeling ever leaving a stadium. A wtf just happened moment

My first away game.
I’ve been to about 90% of away games since that day and not many have come close to the drama of that one.

I’ve always been convinced that game was the key to getting promoted. Up to that point we had a team of fighters (with a bit more skill than were given credit for). From that day, we had a team that were like men possessed. It seemed to focus minds to a level I’ve not seen in 35 years of watching us.
