Positives.....there must be something

Confirmation that with some midfield protection a CB pairing of Bartley and O'Shea could be very effective in the Chump next year.  With Semi also handy that position looks healthy.

Townsend just keeps improving in a way that most footballers just don't.

Ok!! A privilege to watch him, what a beast.  Sadly he wont be here next year but it would take ineptitude surely beyond even our recruitment team not to identify, and bring in a replacement.

Playing Perreira out wide makes him so innefective that there is a definite possibility he will be at the Hawthorns next season in a division he can impact.   Can we leave him on set pieces please, just to be sure.

Grady, Grant and Robinson will be fresh and ready to go next year.

Actual positives from today's game? Ermmmm we weren't terrible first half?

I had an optician appointment today so missed the match. I bet most of you feel instead you should have gone to Specsavers.

The O’Shea - Bartley - Townsend defensive trio is a massive plus to me. We couldn’t defend last season even when playing well yet these three look decent at this level. Shame about the right back.

There are lots of positives, can't be arsed at the moment though.

We pretty much controlled the game without scoring.

The key thing now is who is going to lead us back to the Prem next season because I do think with the year's experience this squad will be better than that which got us up - as long as we either keep or replace Okay and Austin/Kanu.

Leave perreira on Set pieces? He was woeful today and his corners poor.

Team look physically fit. Bartley has stepped up as leader. We've got a reasonable back line and we know exactly the kind of CDM we need.

Exactly! I want him here next season.  The more guff he serves up the less likely a move.
