Bonkers move that!
Wednesday are a big club but crippled financially with FFP, a mental owner and mired in the drop zone! Still I guess it’s a step up from Donny!

Great club in a calamitous state and they must have admired his work not so far up the road. Not sure it's a good move for him. Surely a decent Championship club will be in for him anyway come next season.
He's a great bloke, bursting with good ideals, values and integrity, who sadly lost his way with us due to Graham Jones kamikaze football. I would love him to come back one day as the finished article.

If anyone can invigorate a depressed team it's big Dave.
Hope he doesn't keep them up as that would probably mean Rotherham going down

They have only scored 23 goals, joint lowest in the division. Dave will probably play a more expansive game. From Pulis to fucking about at the back in one season. Doesn't bode well, though.

Can't help but think that may be a bad move for his career. Maybe it is a good short term boost to his bank balance? I'm sure he is well aware anyway so good luck to him.

“ We are disappointed that Darren has chosen to leave the club part way through what has been a season full of promise.
"We have made significant efforts to support Darren over the past 18-months and ensure he was able to build a team capable of challenging in the top six. This has included supporting him through the past two transfer windows despite the difficult financial circumstances. "Our ambitions remain to achieve a top six finish and we hope and expect that Andy will use this time to put himself in the prime position to secure the role on a permanent basis at the end of the season. Andy’s first priority will be to halt the team's recent run of poor form and put our season back on track.” Not much love lost between the Chairman and Moore from the sounds of their statement. Surprised Moore would walk out at this stage of the season really, I thought he had more integrity.

I wonder if he got annoyed with them selling their best player in January?

Very strange move, he needs some consistency at one club to build up his CV and credibility
Can't see that happening at Sheff Wed... Cuzer
