Was there any reason

why the deals for AMN and Okay had to wait for the last day of the transfer window?

I don't need to be told that transfers are difficult to arrange and even more so for a club of our size. But one of the main complications of most deals that the selling/loaning clubs need to replace before they will let a player, didn't apply in these cases (well certainly not in the AMN deal)

Just think given the nature of our last 2 games, all incomings needed to be done so we had the strongest available squad for them.

Having these 2 players available for Tottenham, just seems to be shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Yep, complete waste of time.

We are now a shop window for AMN.

Completely agree Shabs but this is the way the window works now. Certainly AMN wasn’t available until the end.

As much as we would chop off our right nad to get a game these chaps may be waiting to see if an other offers come in before they spend 5 months in a relegation battle with a team bereft of confidence with the chance of reducing their wages and a journey to Huddersfield and Barnsley next year as a virtual certainty
