Our forwards were queuing up to put that on away, On another day we would have been 2-1 up.
BFS has acknowledged this post game.
But he still took them both off, I often think that a fan knows a lot less than anyone with badges, let alone someone with that much experience in the game. Doesn’t stop me from struggling with this one.

It was offside.
He says the most pivotal moment of the game was this chance.
It was offside.

I said earlier.
I didn't understand that sub at all, the players involved or the timing
And I usually can understand, even if I disagree.

The obvious substitution was to get Gallagher the middle as we were being overrun (even for Pereira who was having a poor game)
It as highly predictable that Kanu & Grant would give us less threat even if Diagne & Robinson were tiring. And so it proved to be
Grant is desperately limited, makes Robinson look like world beater. Kanu is just Kanu and at this level, it’s not enough

I think it's understandable why the subs were made. Both Robinson and Diagne had done a lot of work first half and were obviously feeling the effects second half. Robinson has in most of the games he has started been substituted around the hour mark, unless there is a stamina problem, he is presumably told to run himself into the ground for 60 mins.
Feel the mistake was not making the Gallagher substitution at the same time. But in truth we needed to make at least 4, probably 5 substitutions at the 60 minute mark.

I honestly didn't see the point in subbing our two forwards for two forwards, when none of our players seemed willing to leave our 18 yard box.

Diagne was definitely struggling, so understand why he was hooked. The Robinson substitution was less obvious, but I think the issue is more that it was like for like changes, with the same formation adopted. We were being overrun, so we should have changed the shape of the team. The CM's were being out ran and out played again. It seems whoever the personnel in that area of the pitch, it's the same outcome. Your CM's need to be on top of their opponents if you're going to dominate possession and dictate the play. This hasn't happened this season, we can only hope that Okay is more than the sum of his name, and can change this.
