It was me - he had a 3-game ban and had only served 2. Suspensions carry over from country to country so it seems that we somehow timed the registration of his transfer so that it went through after Gala’s game last night had started, and so counted as the 3rd game, but in time for him to play today.
Can’t think of any other possible way that it’s ok
Sam just said in his pre-match interview that we've got a gentlemans agreement with the Turkish FA that the final game of his suspension has been wiped but don't tell the FA or Premier League
