From the shops.

How did we get on? Big Grin

Sawyers should be dropped for that awful “blind” back pass. Irrespective that Sam was to the side of his goal (to allow an easy back pass to him), a Leeds player could have been in a position to intercept the back pass. He should have put it out for a throw in or hoofed it up field as far as he could.  There was another time he conceded a corner when he could have put it out for a throw in.

Not good enough. We were right the first time to get rid.

Nothing wrong with passing the ball back but his error was in making a blind pass, which no player should ever do.

Apols, I added the word “blind” whilst you were posting. 100% agree. Schoolboy error. I was always told “if in doubt, hoof it out”.  O’Shea looked more distraught with his deflection than sawyers did with his own goal.
