Really sad news for anyone with an affinity to sport in Worcester, in particular rugby.

He had a plan. And saw it through.

I interviewed him and met him on several occasions. A good chap who did masses for Worcester.

Strewth what a day, I work at Birmingham Airport who sponsored Worcester Rugby club for some years so saw a few matches there, seem to think he built them up from a small outfit to where they are now.

The complete stadium was constructed on his watch, and Rugby became professional in that period.
