An island not afraid to impose extra sanctions on arrivals with very few areas of crammed living areas. I guess a less amount of selfish "fuck it" merchants too. We'll done to them after a fairly hefty lock down

Countries that only allow their own nationals back in. Meanwhile, back in England airports operated as though nothing was wrong.  

I was chatting to a South African woman 2 weeks ago and she told me that there they have converted buildings for SA returning citizens to self isolate and they have to pay to stay there.

This is true but most people live in the cities not the outback or Northern territories. Melbourne 4m, Brisbane 2m, Perth 1.8m, Adelaide 1.2m. Their population density is average by world standards based on where people live rather than land mass and in some areas relatively high with “Inner-city Melbourne has the highest population density of any region at 20,700 people per square kilometre.”
