I’m reasonably satisfied with the business we have done. The squad needed a major overhaul to make it competitive for the PL and realistically, and especially with the reduced funding, it wasn’t going to happen in one window. I still think we’re short of the quality needed but hopefully we can compete with those around us.
Grady, Pereira and Grant are all good acquisitions, the sort I’d like to see us make more of - young, talented and with the prospect of decent resale value if they do perform as we hope they can. Ivanovic can add experience and hopefully Gallagher some bite into the midfield.

I'm a bit disappointed overall. I was hoping for another striker, maybe a DM. Hope I'm wrong, but I think it might be a tough old season.

Still think we will have to score 2 goals to be in with a chance of winning a game.
SJ can be shakey, O'Shea is still learning, Bartley always capable of dropping a bollock and Sawyers/Livermore lack pace.
Live in hope though.
